Sackville Sports Heritage Hall of Fame

The Sackville Sports Heritage Foundation was established in 1981 by a group of local residents with a mandate to honour athletes, teams and administrators involved in local competition and beyond. The Foundation’s mission is to promote and encourage minor sports programs in the community and recognize those who have excelled in various levels of competition as athletes, teams, coaches, officials and builders on the provincial, national and international stages. Each year the foundation holds an induction and award ceremony to acknowledge individuals and teams, who have contributed so much to the sporting aspect of the Sackville community that includes Lucasville and Beaver Bank.
